What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a Marketing funnel? Why is it important for every marketer to have one?

It is a method of marketing that is used to convince potential customers to buy products from you. It's a sales method that lets someone browse your website in search of information that solves their problem. You can build a relationship through specific tools.

This will help you better understand the needs of each visitor. This will help you provide the best information possible to all your visitors. If you gain the trust of your visitors, they will be more likely to purchase your products. This visitor will then become a client.

Some customers end up becoming very loyal customers, willing to buy every product you advertise. A marketing funnel outlines the steps that are required to convert a person who comes to your site into a client who will return to you for future purchases.

This is the main objective for any online marketer. A properly created funnel can accomplish this quickly.

You've got the marketing tools to entice people's attention and bring them into your funnel. They enter the funnel once they fill out the form that you have on your PERSONAL lead capture page. I use the word "personal" because nobody is going to opt in on your business lead capture page. They are looking for an executive to join them and not a small-scale company.

The lead capture page is where they begin the funnel. If they click on the "Sign up now" or the "Enter here" buttons, they will be able to access a whole different world of network marketing.

The most appealing aspect is that they have qualified themselves to do it. It's up to them. You've sold them nothing, other than your leadership qualities, a mentor, and as someone who can help them increase leads and bring more money into their business.

This is how a typical funnel works.

The "front-end", you can create a free offer that will attract and qualify potential customers who might be interested in buying your product further in the sales funnel. You will need to sign up to get the product (also called opt in) and then enter your email address and name. Then, they will be added to your email marketing list.

Now, you can include these contacts in your email lists so you can send them other relevant offers.

Signing up for the complimentary offer will take you to a webpage with low-price offers or what's called a "trip wire offer". This is the point where they're moving to your "back-end" of the funnel.

If the buyer buys the lowest-priced offer and is accepted, they are directed to a comparable deal at a higher price (commonly known as an Upsell). Also, the buyer will be taken to the next product if they buy the same deal at a higher cost. This can go on and on...
