With two available modes, Cerence Tour Guide fulfills a variety of road travel requirements and brings information and insights from history, geography and architectural highlights into popular hiking routes and trails straight to the car. The Planned Tour mode is the perfect companion for road trips and exploring new destinations. With it, drivers can plan their trips, from one-hour sightseeing tours to multi-day experiences. For drivers looking for a more casual experience, Explore Mode dynamically selects POIs along the route and provides information to drivers while driving based on pre-set settings such as information categories – art, history, sport, etc. – as well as the amount and frequency of information that they want to receive. Drivers can even book experiences such as restaurants, museums and other attractions directly with the car assistant, creating additional revenue opportunities for OEMs.
