THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Ten bloggers will get their first taste of Kerala when the tourism division launches “My First Trip,” a campaign to promote the state among local travelers in the country. The campaign was conceived even before the pandemic as the Indian counterpart to the international Kerala Blog Express campaign, which brings bloggers from around the world to the state to promote destinations in Kerala. “All bloggers arriving for the campaign are first-time visitors to the state. Since this is their first time experiencing the state, their excitement can be felt in their social media updates. The 10 bloggers will have different itineraries and the main destinations in 14 districts will be covered in six days, ”he added. The campaign was conceived by Stark Communications, the creative and brand management agency of Kerala Tourism.

On the first day the travelers will visit places like Poovar, Kovalam etc. in Thiruvananthapuram followed by other important destinations in other districts. The bloggers will travel to mountain stations, beaches, backwaters and experience village life and share their impressions on social media. The first edition of the domestic campaign will be canceled from the capital on March 25th. The bloggers will leave the state March 31 from Kochi. The legendary luxury bus that normally carries bloggers will be absent this time due to the pandemic, and each blogger will travel in an Innova brand accompanied by a tourism information officer.
