Rescue dog’s humorous field guide discussion set March 31

Finn offers tips on how to get off on the right paw with a new Hooman, a Hooman user manual, appropriate training strategies, retaliation techniques, and more. Using Finn’s tips and tricks, Doggos get their Hoomans to do what they want, when they want to.

The discussion is free to the public. Registration is required. To sign up, go to and visit the Adult Virtual Programs page.

Attendees will also be encouraged to assist the author by purchasing a copy of the book from the local independent bookstore, Browseabout Books. Each copy purchased comes with an archive bookplate signed by the author. Orders can be placed online at, by calling the store at 302-226-2665, or in person at 133 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach.

Romack is from Maryland, is a dog lover and passionate volunteer. She and her husband started posting their foster dog Finn’s weekly updates on social media to help potential adopters fall in love with him – but it became clear pretty quickly that Finn was already home. The posts became so popular that Gwen decided to continue sharing Finn’s view of life as the dog rescuing his troubled Hoomans.
