Vrbo journey traits in 2021
Many families are already planning their vacation for the next year at Vrbo.
MISSOURI, USA – The pandemic may have put your vacation on hold this year, but 8 in 10 families are already planning for 2021. Melanie Fish from Vrbo is here to explain what these travel trends include.
By compiling data and running a global travel survey, Vrbo figured out what families are planning for 2021 and which of the pandemic travel trends will stay here.
The road trips were huge in 2020, and Melanie says they may still be the preferred route in 2021. This gives people the opportunity to use entire private homes near lakes and mountains. Flex cations, or travel combining both work and leisure, are also likely to persist.
House prices start as early as 2021, so Melanie recommends booking now! Vrbo reminds families to check the latest health policies and travel restrictions before booking a trip. Find out more about the new travel products for the coming year at vrbo.com.
